Couldn’t help ourselves with the headline but The Pres a 2YO was impressive winning his Maiden at Warrnambool today over 1200m against the older horses. Started favourite and did not let his punters down with Michael Walker on board. That was Michael’s 1st ride at Warrnambool for the season so we knew we were going to be a strong chance. The horse missed the kick at the jump but Michael stayed calm as he does and held him together until the turn, then eased him out and drove to the line under very light riding to record a soft win. The Busuttin team headed up by Trent and Natalie have done a great job with this big raw boned fellow who will continue to get better with racing. Another Ken King bred winner.
