The Last Charge breaks a runs of outs to win at Echuca today in BM58 over 1200m. It was the omen bet of the day as his sire LATE CHARGE won the Listed Sofitel Stakes at Flemington on the same day a few years back. Another good ride by Jason Maskiell who had him well placed in the run to strike late. He got him to the outside of the track around the corner to charge down the tearaway leader. Trainer Wendy Kelly has been putting plenty of work into him to become more settled in the run and today that work paid off. Well done her and her team. Another Ken King bred winner!
