Unbeaten 3YO filly Street Icon made the difficult task of backing her Maiden win up with a win in BM64 grade made it look easy at Sandown today. The lightly raced Street Boss filly went straight to the front when the gates opened, dictated the early going and kicked clear at the top of the straight to score an easy win. Jockey Mark Zahra told owners she travelled beautifully in the run and showed a great turn of foot when he released the brakes half way up the straight. Co Trainer David Eustace from the Maher & Eustace team told reporters she had always shown ability but the family had a history of slow maturing and the best is yet to come. The half sister to Stakes winner BONS AWAY bred by Ken King Thoroughbreds is certainly making her own way in the world.
