Kate’s Tiara broke through for her 1st win from 5 race starts today at Ballarat. The key was change of tactics with a positive ride from Jake Noonan going straight to the front and letting her roll. She kept going winning by the comfortable margin of 1.5L. Good training effort by Alex Rae who took her to the races off a 10 week break with no trial. He’s found keeping her fresh is the key and it will be interesting to see if that develops as her racing pattern going forward. Another Ken King bred winner!
