Ice Ice Baby proved too strong for his opposition at Pakenham today at his 1st start over 1600m. He jumped well and led them up with jockey Brian Park rating him to perfection. When the pressure came into the race at the top of the straight he found and kept kicking to hold of the late challenge from the favorite. That made it two wins on the trot. He’s always shown good ability but mental immaturity has held him back but not now as he seems a more focused horse. Credit to trainer Wendy Kelly who has had to pull a few tricks out of her trainers kit bag to get him to think more about racing truly. Now 3 wins from 16 starts and earnings of over $120,000 he’s turning out to be great buy for his fellow owners. Let’s see if he can make it three in a row, that would be something!
