Eight Shouts wins on debut at Ballarat on Synthetic track over 1400m in a bit of a surprise at big odds. The well bred 3YO son of Holler is a half brother to a very good horse we raced LATE CHARGE a stakes winner and high class galloper. Out of a staying bloodline that boasts 2 G1 Derby winners Eight Shouts looks in the same mold and just might have a future over further ground.  Trainer Tom Dabernig has patiently taken his time waiting for him to mature and now all involved might be able to see the benefit of that approach going forward. Jockey Harry Grace gave him the perfect ride box seating him the run from an inside draw and on turning found the gap up the inside to win drawing away on his much more experienced rivals. Still a bit to learn but plenty of promise going forward. Another Ken King bred winner!
