After a luckless run at her previous start Crimson Ace returned to winning form to record her 2nd win from 6 starts at Cranbourne today. Settling closer in the run but hampered coming around the corner she had to fight hard to get her victory. Jockey Thomas Stockdale didn’t panic in traffic got clear air then balanced her up on straightening and under strong riding drove her to the line to nail the stablemate who was favourite. She is still a very raw talent but you have to love her tenacity and will to win. The Busuttin team got the quinella for the race just happy ours was the winner. Another Ken King bred winner.
