Brazen Bon a 3YO gelding by G1 winner BON AURUM wins on debut at Yarra Glen over 1200m beating the hot pot favorite comfortably at the juicy odds of 15’s. The 1st starter had shown good form at the trials and trainer Alex Rae was confident he’d run a big race which he did. The horse is still very green and has a bit to learn so some good upside with this guy. Jockey Matthew Cartwright rode him to instructions sitting outside leader in the run and kicked clear on straightening to hold off his rivals in the straight. Good day for the family with his full brother 4yo gelding Bon’s Pride winning at Darwin on Friday bringing up a hatrick of wins. Another Ken King bred winner!
