3yo gelding Bons Pride breaks through at his 4th race start to win at Cranbourne this evening over the 1400m and in doing so brought up a double for the team today. Early in the day Bahama Bay saluted. The son of G1 winner BON AURUM has steadily improved with every run this preparation and got his deserved win. His last start was a luckless 2nd where he missed the start got some severe interference in the run but still found the line. Today jockey Jake Duffy had him perfectly positioned mid field in the run, got going before the turn and ran down the leader on the post. He’s got some ticker. That was trainer Wendy Kelly’s 2nd BON AURUM winner for us and at this stage is the club house leader. Another Ken King Bred winner!
