I’m Foxing l what an exciting speed machine she’s turned out to be. She took on a quality field of 3YO fillies at Caulfield over the 1000m and from her wide gate exploded to the front leading the field up by 3L on the corner and holding to win her 3rd straight race from just 4 starts. If she had of drawn an inside gate the margin would not have been so tight and she used up plenty of petrol to get across the field from her widest draw.
She’s by I Am Immortal out of a unraced Smart Missile mare called Fox Two. The mare has now had two foals that have both won. Ken knows where her speed comes from as he bred her specifically to get a double Bletchingly cross that can produce fast horses. The family includes the likes stakes winners TENNESSEE MAGIC and TENNESSEE VAIN. Most of the good horses from this pedigree page are black and I’m Foxing carriers that same gene.
The filly was given a perfect ride by Jamie Melham as you would expect. All class!
