After a couple of luckless runs early in preparation promising 3YO filly SALARIA got the job done at Pakenham to breakthrough and win against the 3YO fillies. Starting the short priced favorite for the race jockey had her positioned midfield in the run on the back of the 2nd favorite, peeled of it’s back after turning into the straight and drove away for a comfortable win.
Trainer Alex Rae purchased the filly at the Inglis Classic Sales from the Ken King draft. Ken and a few of his fellow breeders where delighted Alex was successful in securing the filly and retained a good share in her. Alex spotted the filly at Ken King Thoroughbreds Euroa property and fell in love with as a type a was determined to own her!
The filly is by BLUEPOINT out of our outstanding producing mare Villa Albani. She is a half sister to 3 stakes performers including the brilliant speedster BONS AWAY. If she might be as good!
