Catch It Kiss It a 3YO filly by THRONUM surprised us all winning her Maiden on debut at Mornington today starting at starting odds of $31. The filly is the 1st foal out of an unraced Astern mare who is half sister to stakes winner FRENCH EMOTION. With her 1st foal a winner the mare is off to a great start in the breeding barn.
The filly showed all the composure of an experienced performer today, Jumped well from the gates and raced in a handy position midfield by jockey Sheridan Clarke. Sheridan had her well positioned as they came to the corner, came off the fence and took a gap half way up the straight to burst clear and win with ease. Nice ride Sheridan.
Trained by Wendy Kelly at Cranbourne who has been a long time favorite of out team over 25 years. We’ve had G1 success together and every new winner we have gives us hope there might be another around the corner.
