Crimson Ace goes back to back with a strong win at the City meeting at Mornington today rolling the odds on pop in style. We mentioned last time when she won she is building a good winning record and that continues with 4 wins from her 12 career starts. We were a little worried in the run when she got back mid field as it was a day when you were favoured out front and on pace. Jockey Regan Bayliss kept his cool, snuck up on the fence and eased her out at the top of the straight and she produced a great turn of foot to get over the top of the leaders. Regan is now two from two on her. She is trained by the Busuttin team who have always held her in good regard and they continue to present her in fantastic order on race day. We might just have a nice young staying mare on our hands and we look forward to see where she heads next. Another Ken King bred winner.
