Classy mare Street Icon headed to Hobart today to tackle the G3 Bow Mistress Stakes for Mares over the 1200m. Settling in her usual back marker position she loomed into the race at the top of the straight but could not hold out the winner to run a game 2nd. That is her 2nd career black type placing and a good start to her Autumn campaign. She should improve with that run under her belt.
