G1 winning Set Square who recently retired will continue her career as a broodmare with Japan’s leading thoroughbred stud Northern Farm.

Managing Owner and breeder of the mare Ken King said “All Set Square owners are sad to see her go but really excited that she will be given every opportunity to succeed at stud by being mated with some of the best staying bloodlines on offer in the world at Northern Farm, maybe one day we will see her progeny return to Australia and compete in our Spring classics the Caulfield and Melbourne Cups”

Set Square was bred by Ken King and syndicated through his syndication business for $50000. She has amassed nearly $2m in total returns for her owners and gave them the thrill of a lifetime when she won the G1 VRC Oaks of 2014
