Lightly raced 4YO mare RUBY STREET proved too good for her rivals at Pakenham tonight winning her BM64 over 1400m by 2.5L eased down. The mare has always showed promise winning her Maiden at her 1st ever start but injury put her career on hold. With some time off at our farm and a change of stable to the Kevin Corstens yard the mare has come back better than ever. Kevin’s team have been instrumental in her rehabilitation with a solid grounding at the beach. Jockey Ben Allen jumped her out well and had her much closer in the run than we have seen in the past just behind the speed on the fence. The gap opened after they straightened and she darted through to run away from her rivals. Thanks to our fellow owners who held tough during her injury period their patience has been rewarded. Another Ken King bred winner.
