Following its successful inaugural implementation last year, Racing Victoria has recently begun the 2015 Spring Premierships for both jockeys and trainers, however this year Thoroughbred Breeders Victoria will also be running a Spring Premiership for both Victorian breeders and Victorian sires. Points are obtained by breeders and sires from any of the black-type races run during the Spring at Victorian racetracks. The scoring started on Champagne Stakes night at Moonee Valley (25th September) and will continue until Ballarat Cup Day (21st November). The early leaders are Euroa's Parador Park (in the Victorian breeder category) and Darley's Reset (in the leading Victorian sire category). The Premiership tables for both the Victorian breeders and Victorian sires will be updated after each raceday featuring black-type races and can be located on the TBV website.
