Another G2 for Bons Away and another placing this time running a gallant 2nd behind Everest placegetter Osborne Bulls in the TAB.com Stakes over 1200m down the straight at Flemington. Bons Away went back and was last early. Jockey Michael Walker got on the back of Osborne Bulls when he commenced his run but was unable to run him down before the post. Once again he had the best sectionals of the race fastest last 800, 600, 400 and 200m and the highest peak speed for the race. The Ciaron Maher & David Eustace training combination have him flying and a win at elite level is not far away.
