Lightly raced South Street Boss scored an all the way win at Mornington today in a 2yo Maiden over 1200m. He jumped to the front when the gates opened controlled the speed and kicked clear on the turn to record a 3L win. That was his 3rd career start but 1st start this prep after the ultimate gear change during his last spell when gelded. He’s always shown good speed but raced too hard to finish off his 1st two starts. Today he led but was much more relaxed in the run and as a result had plenty on hand at the business end. Another Ken King bred winner
