Monkey Magic recorded her 2nd career win from her 10th start at Cranbourne tonight in great style by a margin of 2.75L. It was pleasing on a number of fronts as the mare has had several major setbacks to her career suffering hock injuries on two occasions that required surgery. Owners have avoided hard tracks to give her every chance and she had been scratched from her previous two acceptances at Sandown. Everything came together at Cranbourne tonight with some give in the track, great ride by Callow and good placement by trainer Wendy Kelly.
