It’s been awhile between drinks but Ice Ice Baby got his 2nd career win today at Kilmore in a BM58 over 1460m. The talented galloper has plenty of ability but is let down by his brain fazes at times. Today he held it all together and saluted. Jockey Brian Park was involved in an incident in the preparade ring and damaged his thumb making it difficult to steer but the trooper he is remounted after treatment to give the horse a great ride in transit and score the win. As mentioned the horse can be difficult to manage but trainer Wendy Kelly has persisted and continued to mix it with him to ensure the owners got a result today.
