Fast Cash ran a slashing 2nd today in the Essendon Nissen McKenzie Stakes for 3YO's over 1200m.

He jumped OK but then dropped the bit and dropped out after 400m settling last in the run where he remained until the home turn where he unleashed a powerful finish having the best sectionals for the race, his 800m in 45.67s, last 600m in 34.47s, last 400m in 22.94s and final 200m in 11.34s.

Considering it is his 1st prep and 3rd race start the horse has taken some giants steps since his impressive Maiden win at Swam Hill. His next run will most likely be the Gr2 Danehill Stakes at Flemington over 1200m
