Eight Times A Lady returned to racing today at Cranbourne to win 1st up over the 1400m in BM64 company. Jockey Jason Maskiell handled the outsider of the small field to perfection, sitting back last in the run then driving up the inside to go from last to 1st and put the race beyond doubt as they turned the corner. The 5yo Hard Spun mare now has 3 wins from her 13 career starts and looks to have returned to racing in good style and owners are looking forward to a great prep. Trainer Wendy Kelly produced the mare in grand order to win and it was a polished training effort to get her to win 1st up, something the mare had not done before. Congratulations to our racing owners and our breeding owners all sharing in today’s success. Ken King bred.
