Bons Away continued his very consistent form in Stakes company at Mornington running a fast finishing 2nd in the Hareeba Strakes over 1200m. Once again as he has past three runs he drew a horror gate but Lynda Meech was up to the challange steering form last on turn weaving her way through the field for a charge to the post clocking the best sectionals on the day. He only had to draw a gate and he would have been much too good for his rivals.
