After a close 2nd his previous start Beaux Strata returned to the winners circle with a good win at Mackay today in a Class 1 over 1800m. In a masterfull ride Adrian Coombe gave him the run of the race, dashed him through a gap on the fence on the home turn and raced clear in the straight to hold out the challengers
